What these calculators are for
AgroMachHub is a set of free calculators for farmers, ranchers, growers, crop advisers and gardeners. Each page answers one question with numbers you can check: how many acres a field or lot has, how much fertilizer or lime to spread for the rate your soil test calls for, how many seeds and pounds to plant, how many gallons per acre a sprayer puts out, how many bushels a bin holds, how much corn shrinks when it is dried, how much hay a herd needs and when a cow is due to calve.
Every calculator works the same way:
- Shows the working. Under each result is the formula filled in with your numbers.
- US or metric units. Every value has its own unit menu: acres or hectares, pounds or kilograms, gallons or liters.
- Print or save. “Print / save as PDF” gives a sheet with your inputs, results, the calculation steps and the date.
- Share a link. The page address holds your inputs, so a copied link opens the same calculation.
- Private. Everything is calculated in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, and there is no account.
The results are planning estimates. Rates come from your soil test, the product label and your agronomist or extension service; animal dates and feed needs vary, so check with your veterinarian or nutritionist. You may use the results in commercial work, including nutrient plans, spray records, quotes and invoices.
